How it works
The 24-hour funding timeline, step by step
From the moment you hit submit to the moment money lands, here is what happens and what you can do to speed each step up.
Fast funding is not magic. It is a short list of steps done in the right order with nothing left hanging. Here is each step, how long it usually takes and the one thing you can do to make it quicker.
Step 1: The 60-second enquiry
You tell us the amount, what it is for, how long you have been trading, your monthly revenue, your credit history, your state and whether you own property. There is no credit check to enquire. Speed tip: answer accurately. A loan that has to be reworked because the turnover or the amount changed after the first call is the slowest loan there is.
Step 2: A real person calls
In business hours, usually within minutes. They confirm the details, ask what the deadline is and request the evidence that matters: business bank statements for unsecured funding, or the property details for a secured loan. Speed tip: keep your phone close for the next hour and answer unknown numbers.
Step 3: Approval
For a clean, straightforward profile, approval can be given within 15 minutes. Approval within the hour is common once statements or property details are in. Larger amounts, trusts or credit issues may take a little longer because there is more to check. Speed tip: have six months of statements ready to share through a secure bank link.
Step 4: Documents and signing
Loan documents are sent electronically. Every borrower and guarantor signs, and identity is verified. For property-secured loans, the mortgage or caveat is prepared and, where needed, any co-owner signs too. Speed tip: tell co-owners and guarantors in advance so nobody is waiting on them.
Step 5: Funds land
Once everything is signed and the conditions are met, funds are released. Funding within 24 hours of enquiring is genuinely possible, and it is common for the money to move the same day or next business day once signing is done. Speed tip: give the account details for the payment at the start, especially if funds are paying a third party such as the ATO or a supplier.
What can push the timeline out
- Bank statements that are hard to access, or a brand-new account.
- A trust deed that cannot be found, or missing pages.
- A co-owner or guarantor who is overseas or unavailable to sign.
- Information that changes after the first call.
- Weekends and public holidays, when banks process payments differently.
